Education

The mind is mischief-maker; it jumps from doubt to doubt and puts obstacles in way. It weaves a net and gets entangled in it. It is ever discontented; it runs after a hundred things and away from another hundred. The mind also the wind that brings us to the smell, foul or fragrance of the world. When the mind turns to the foul it makes us disgusted, when it turns towards the fragrant, we are made happy. Control the mind and we remains unruffled. It is educable. Only “EDUCATION” can make it into an obedient servant. Education should lead us Humility. In turn it will equip us with all the eligibility .Education is not measured by how many degrees or diplomas we hold or how many exams we passed. It should not be made breadwinner. There are crores of people in this country who are not educated and are still living a good life. To think that education is necessary to enable man to live is quite wrong. Education should unable us to be an ideal and develop into an ideal example. As we become more and more educated our ideas should become broader and broader. As our knowledge grow further and further, humility should become more and more. Man should be the master of his behavior; he should not be led by the impulses of the movements. He must be conscious always of what is good for him in particular and society in general. At any point of time he should be prepared to give his help, energy and encouragement to those who ask for it. He should so carry on his daily task that he does not make other suffer or suffer himself. The responsibility of success and failure is entirely one’s own; we have no right to shift it on to others. It will be appropriate to quote the quotation of Carlyle “A great man shows his greatness by the way he treats little men”. Every alphabet of ‘EDUCATION’ conveys a message.
Above all cultivation of virtues is very important and beneficial than mere book- learning. The education without character, commerce without morality and politics without principles will not last long. Let us take pledge that whatever we learn through education has to be practiced and used for the welfare of society. Undoubtly the ones education makes their heart softer and character more cute.
